I randomly discovered the therapeutic effects of origami while trying to survive college. I taught myself to fold for a class project, and soon it became the only thing that kept me from going insane. I fold obsessively and compulsively. I am now a graduate student and still manage to find sneaky ways of using origami in my class assignments. I've gotten away with it so far. Some people draw, and some people write poetry; I have a bunch of paper animals around my apartment.
